Elevate your senses through piano performance, visual art, dance, and the spoken word.

Program features performances of works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Ginastera, Haydn, Prokofiev, Scriabin, and Tchaikovsky accompanied by artwork and poetry created by students from the Greater Salt Lake area along with dance choreographed through RDT dance workshops. With the use of PNOScan technology, the concerts offer a multi-sensory experience.

The evening begins with Air Faire at 6:30 PM. Audience members have the opportunity to explore the creative process used to prepare the artwork for the performance, PNOScan technology, as well as, environmental and sound wave displays.

This Project is supported and sponsored in part by Zoo, Arts, and Parks Program, Utah Division of Arts and Museums, Salt Lake Arts Council, Barrus Pianos, Daynes Music, Salt Lake School District, Utah Music Teachers Association in collaboration with the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, Sorenson Unity Center, Repertory Dance Theatre, and University of Utah ArtsBridge Across America.

Auditions for ‘Crossing Delancey’ at the Covey Center

AUDITIONS @ COVEY CENTER: CROSSING DELANCEY. 
Friday, March 16, 5-8 p.m.
Saturday, March 17, 12 – 4 p.m.
 Marry a pickle vendor? Never! Isabel “Izzy” Grossman knows she’ll have to disappoint her matchmaking grandmother. But will she? The Covey Center’s production of Crossing Delancey is a romantic comedy by Susan Sandler, directed by J. Scott Bronson. It will be performed in the Brinton Black Box Theater, April 26 – May 12, 2012. Actors will be paid a stipend.
 Needed:
 3 women – 2 of the 3 need to be mature (in other words, older!)
 2 men. 
Come prepared with a 1-minute monologue; cold readings are also acceptable.
