Presented by UYO&E at Libby Gardner Hall, the touring Concertmaster of Disney’s Aladdin the Broadway Musical, former Utah Youth Symphony Concertmaster and Cottonwood High School alum JD Hunter will perform a very special homecoming violin recital.
Using the music of Respighi, Bach and Ravel, and joined by pianist Jed Moss and cellist Benjamin Noyes, JD weaves an intimate story of phantasmic youth, passionate mastery and personal transformation.
JD Hunter earned Bachelors and Masters in Performance Degrees from the New England Conservatory, was a Tanglewood Fellow for three consecutive summers and a member of the Portland (Maine) Symphony Orchestra, the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra, principal second violinist of Plymouth Philharmonic. Hunter has also performed with
the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops and Boston Ballet Orchestras and recorded the Bach A Minor Sonata and the Ravel Violin and Cello Duo at the Maine Music Mill in Brusnwick, Maine.
