WESTMINSTER COLLEGE CHAMBER ORCHESTRA AUDITIONS

The Westminster College Chamber Orchestra will be holding auditions for the fall 2012 semester on Aug. 22 from 6-9 p.m. The auditions will take place in the Jewett Center for the Performing Arts on the Westminster College campus, 1840 S. 1300 East. The auditions are open to Westminster College students, faculty and staff as well as community members. Come join the Rebel Alliance in performing music from Star Wars: A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. Being a sci-fi geek is not a prerequisite for participation.

THE SALT LAKE CHORAL ARTISTS ANNOUNCE AUDITIONS FOR THE 2012-2013 SEASON

Auditions will be held from August 2-20 for all six choirs that make up the Salt Lake Choral Artists: Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Women’s Choir, Men’s Choir, Salt Lake Vocal Artists and the Young Choral Artists.

The auditions are by appointment only and all voice parts are welcome.  Tenors and basses are especially encouraged to audition for the Men’s Choir that is debuting this season.

Members of the adult choirs will have the opportunity to travel to Israel in January, and the newly formed Men’s Choir will travel to France.  The Salt Lake Vocal Artists will also travel to Bulgaria.
