GUEST CONDUCTOR TO LEAD SALT LAKE SYMPHONY AT UPCOMING CONCERT

The Salt Lake Symphony and Utah Voices will join forces this Saturday for a performance of Ernest Bloch’s Avodath Hakodesh (Sacred Service). On the podium will be guest conductor Anton Armstrong, conductor of the St. Olaf College Choir in Minnesota.

Also on the program is Zoltán Kodály’s Dances of Galánta.

The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. and takes place in Libby Gardner Concert Hall on the University of Utah campus. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for seniors and students and can be purchased at the door, or by calling 801-531-7501, or online at www.saltlakesymphony.org.
