UTAH WIND SYMPHONY IN CONCERT JUNE 2

The Utah Wind Symphony will give its final concert of its inaugural season on June 2 in Libby Gardner Concert Hall at the University of Utah. The concert will be conducted by the group’s music director Scott Hagen, who is also the director of bands at the U. Start time is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for general and $3 for students and are available at the door.

There will be a pre concert lecture at 6:45 p.m. in Room 270 in David Gardner Hall with composer David Maslanka, whose Symphony No. 4 will be on the program.

Also on the program will be works by John Williams, David Gillingham, Henry Fillmore and Charles Ives.
