Caitlyn Valovick-Moore to Perform Recital and Hold Master Class

The Utah Symphony’s acting assistant principal flute, Caitlyn Valovick-Moore, will play in recital on Jan. 20 at 7:30 p.m. Accompanied by Utah Symphony pianist Jason Hardink the performance will take place in Dumke Recital Hall in David Gardner Hall on the University of Utah campus. Admission is $5 for Utah Flute Association members, $7 for non member seniors and students, and $10 for non member adults. On the program will be works by Casella, Feld, Schubert, Brown and Vine.

Valovick-Moore will also hold a master class on Jan. 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Salt Lake Recital Hall (Peter Prier Recital Hall), 320 E. 200 South. This is free and open to the public. Students wishing to participate in the master class need to send in a $25 fee and an application form by Jan. 7. For more information and to download an application log on to www.utahflute.org
