The Utah Symphony has announced that due to a recent minor injury to his right hand Nicholas Angelich will not be playing Schumann’s Concerto this weekend. Instead, he’ll play Ravel’s Concerto for the Left Hand.

The rest of the program will remain the same: the suite from Prokofiev’s ballet Romeo and Juliet and Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Overture. Thierry Fischer, who will conduct, has also added the waltz from Tchaikovsky’s ballet The Sleeping Beauty.

There will be three performances: today, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. in Abravanel Hall. Tickets are $18-$85 ($5 higher when purchased on the day of the concert) and are available by calling 801-355-2787 or 888-451-2787 or going online to www.utahsymphony.org.
