UTAH CHAMBER ARTISTS TO PERFORM CHRISTMAS CONCERT, ‘CAROLS & LULLABIES’

Barlow Bradford and the Utah Chamber Artists choir and orchestra with special guest, actor Michael Jesse Bennett, will be performing the choir’s annual Christmas Concert, “Carols & Lullabies. ”

The program will include American composer Daniel Pinkham’s “Christmas Cantata.” The evening will feature various carols and lullabies including Bradford’s arrangements of “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “O Come All Ye Faithful,” Bernell Hale’s “Lullaby,” and Peter Warlock’s “Lullaby My Jesus.”  Bennett will join the ensemble in a reading of the Christmas story from Luke and will assume the role of Scrooge from Dicken’s “Christmas Carol” set to music from a score Bradford composed in 2003 for the Hale Centre Theatre.

The audience is invited to join the musicians for an after concert reception in the Bastian Atrium.
