BEETHOVEN FESTIVAL PARK CITY TO PRESENT SPECIAL WINTER CONCERT SATURDAY

The Beethoven Festival Park City will be performing a special concert this weekend. The performance takes place Dec. 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Park City Community Church, U-224 at Bear Hollow Dr. Tickets are $15-$20 and available at the door. Music students are admitted free of charge.

The program is called “A Winter’s Concert” and will feature both holiday and non-holiday music. Among the works programmed are selections from Handel’s Messiah for soprano and string quartet; selections from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons; virtuoso pieces for violin and piano and clarinet and piano; klezmer music; and seasonal favorites.

Artists joining festival directors Leslie Harlow, viola, and Russell Harlow, clarinet, are violinists Monte Belknap and Rachel Ostler; cellist Garrick Woods; pianist Bryan Stanley; and soprano Serena Kanig Benish.
