2012 DEER VALLEY MUSIC FESTIVAL SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

The Utah Symphony’s Deer Valley Music Festival will run from July 14 to Aug. 11 this year with concerts at the Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater, St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Temple Har Shalom.

Season ticket packages and group tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by calling 801-533-6683.

A single ticket sale for Summit County residents will take place March 17 at the Bellemarc Building, 1912 Sidewinder Dr., Park City.

Single tickets will go on sale to the general public starting on March 19. They’ll be available for purchase by phone at 801-355-2787 or online at www.deervalleymusicfestival.org.

Student discounts and family passes will be available for select performances.

Ticket prices will increase $5 when purchased on the day of performance.

July 14, 7:30 p.m., Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater: “The Music of Michael Jackson with the Utah Symphony,” James Delisco, vocalist, Brent Havens, conductor.

July 18, 8 p.m., St. Mary’s Church: “Mythic Romance,” Sean Lee, violin, Vladimir Kulenovic, conductor, Utah Symphony; music by Mozart, Vuk Kulenovic, Dvorak, Sarasate, Schubert.

July 20, 7:30 p.m. Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater:  Opera Hits!,” Jerry Steichen, conductor, Utah Symphony and Chorus.

July 21, 7:30 p.m., Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater: “Kansas with the Utah Symphony,” Larry Baird, conductor.

July 25, 8 p.m., St. Mary’s Church:The French Connection,” Vladimir Kulenovic, conductor, Utah Symphony; music by Fauré, Gounod, Ravel, Debussy.

July 27, 7:30 p.m., Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater:1812 Overture!,” Vladimir Kulenovic, conductor, Utah Symphony.

July 28, 7:30 p.m., Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater: “Broadway Rocks!,” Jerry Steichen, conductor, Utah Symphony.

July 31 and Aug. 2, 7:30 p.m., Temple Har Shalom:Jewish American Songbook,” Jerry Steichen, musical direction and piano.

Aug. 1, 8 p.m., St. Mary’s Church: Muir String Quartet; music by Mozart, Tower, Beethoven.

Aug. 3, 7:30 p.m., Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater: “Disney in Concert: Magical Music from the Movies,” Jerry Steichen, conductor, Utah Symphony.

Aug. 4, 7:30 p.m., Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater:Earth, Wind & Fire Guiding Lights Tour 2012 with the Utah Symphony,” Charles Floyd, conductor.

Aug. 8, 8 p.m., St. Mary’s Church:Beethoven, Haydn and Mozart,” Vladimir Kulenovic, conductor, Utah Symphony; music by Beethoven, Haydn, Mozart.

Aug. 10, 7:30 p.m., Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater: “The American Songbook with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Utah Symphony,” Mack Wilberg, conductor.

Aug. 11, 7:30 p.m., Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater: “Pink Martini with the Utah Symphony,” Jerry Steichen, conductor.
