19TH CENTURY MUSIC ON TAP AT THIS WEEKEND’S SUNDAYS@7 CONCERT

This weekend’s Sundays@7 concert focuses on music of the 19th century.

The program consists of Beethoven’s Sonata in C major, op. 102, no. 1, for cello and piano; “Harold in the Mountains” from Berlioz’s Harold in Italy, in an arrangement for viola and piano by Liszt; and Reinecke’s Trio in A minor, op. 188, for oboe, horn and piano.

Performing will be Utah Symphony members Pegsoon Whang, cello; Robert Stephenson, oboe; and Stephen Proser, horn. They’ll be joined by University of Utah faculty members Robert Baldwin, viola, and Heather Conner, piano.

The concert takes place Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. in Libby Gardner Concert Hall on the University of Utah campus. There is no admission charge.
