The Westminster Concert Series continues Monday with a program featuring works by three undisputed masters — Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven.

Works to be played are Haydn’s Piano Trio in C major, Hob. XV/21; Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No. 5, Spring; and Mozart’s Piano Quartet in G minor, K. 478.

“After a concert [last January] featuring Ives, Prokofiev, Brahms and Rachmaninoff — all composers I adore — it’s a pleasant change to be working on three works from the First Viennese School, especially on the cusp of spring,” said pianist and Westminster Concert Series’ director Karlyn Bond.

Bond will be joined by Utah Symphony colleagues Lun Jiang, violin; David Porter, viola; and Pegsoon Whang, cello.

The concert takes place March 3 at 8 p.m. in Vieve Gore Concert Hall on the Westminster College campus. Tickets are $15 and are available at the door or online at www.westminstercollege.edu/cultural_events.
