Utah Symphony Guild Fundraising Gala

Mary Anne Huntsman

David Park

The Utah Symphony Guild Fundraising Gala, “A Night in Paris,” will take place at the Salt Lake Masonic Temple, 650 E. South Temple, on April 27, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $90 and include dinner, concert and a silent auction. They can be purchased online at UtahSymphonyGuild.org.

Performing on the concert will be Mary Anne Huntsman, piano, and David Park, assistant concertmaster of the Utah Symphony. On the program are George Gershwin’s Three Preludes; Pablo de Sarasate’s “Carmen Fantasy;” and César Franck’s Sonata for Violin and Piano.

This is the first time Huntsman and Park will be teaming up as a duo, and the evening’s program will be featured on an upcoming CD the two will record.

Park, a noted wine connoisseur, will be donating a bottle of one of his rare Bordeaux wines, signed by the artists, for the auction.
