Rebecca Pedersen Benefit Concert Thursday

The public is invited to a concert performed by vocalist Rebecca Pedersen, on the eve of her departure for New York City, where she will begin a Master of Music program at The Juilliard School of Music.
Ms. Pedersen has performed as a soloist with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the New York City Symphony, the Chicago Symphony, and the Utah Symphony orchestra. She is a prize winner of numerous competitions. Notably, she was a 2013 Grand Finals Winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, among the youngest singers to win that honor in the event’s 60-year history. Of that performance, The New York Times called Rebecca, “a precociously polished 21-year-old soprano . ..”  Ms. Pedersen is a 2016 graduate of the BYU School of Music.
The event will be held Thursday, August 24, 2017, at 7:00pm at the Bountiful Davis Arts Center, 90 N. Main in Bountiful.  Individual tickets are issued at a suggested $20 donation level per ticket.  They are available at:  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/r ebecca-pedersen-juilliard-bene fit-concert-tickets-3684519196 1
