MULTIMEDIA CROSSROADS PROJECT AT LIBBY GARDNER CONCERT HALL APRIL 28

The Crossroads Project is an ongoing international multimedia event that explores the impact pollution has on the environment. It’s a multimedia program that looks at this issue through music, art and science. In Utah, the Fry Street Quartet has been actively involved in the project.

Fry Street Quartet

On April 28, the Crossroads Project will be in Libby Gardner Concert Hall. Sponsored by the Utah Youth Orchestras, the program will feature the Fry Street Quartet playing music by Haydn and Janacek, as well as a commissioned piece by the American composer Laura Kaminsky. There will also be photos and other visual images and noted physicist and educator Dr. Robert Davies will offer commentary.

The program is free of charge and begins at 7 p.m.

On April 27 at 12 p.m. in Libby Gardner Concert Hall, the Fry Street Quartet will hold a master class with members of the Utah Youth Orchestras. This will be free and open to the public.
