COUPERIN AT THE CATHEDRAL OF THE MADELEINE TUESDAY

Cathedral of the Madeleine organist Douglas O’Neill, joined by a small group of singers, will perform François Couperin’s Mass for the Parishes. The choir will sing the Gregorian chants in alternation with the organ, and the entire performance will, in fact, be a completely sung Mass using readings and proper chants for the Feast of St. Gregory.

The performance takes place on Sept. 6 at 8 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Madeleine and is free of charge.
