BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY FACULTY PRESENTS ‘AN EVENING OF BAROQUE CHAMBER MUSIC’

School of music faculty members will present “An Evening of Baroque Chamber Music” this Saturday, January 21, at 7:30 p.m., in the Madsen Recital Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center on the Brigham Young University campus.  The concert is free.

The evening’s performance will feature Alexander Woods and Monte Belknap on baroque violins, Garrick Woods on baroque cello, Geralyn Giovanetti on oboe, and Douglas Bush on harpsichord and positive organ.

On the program will be a variety pieces including, Sonata No. 5 in G major by Georg Frideric Handel and the Trio Sonata in G major, BWV 1038, by Johann Sebastian Bach.
