AMERICAN PROTÉGÉ ANNOUNCES ITS COMPETITION PROGRAM FOR SINGERS AND INSTRUMENTALISTS

Below is a listing of all American Protégé competitions for the current season. For more information and rules log on to the organization’s website at www.americanprotege.com.

  • International Competition of Romantic Music 2014. The competition is open to all instrumentalists and vocalists. The Winners Concert will take place on March 30, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, New York City. Additional concerts will be hosted if participation increases. The application deadline is Oct. 22.
  • International Music Talent Competition Fall 2014. The competition is open to all instrumentalists, vocalists and traditional folk and jazz groups with extended repertoire choices. The Winners Concert will take place on Dec. 21 and in March 2015 at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, New York City. The organization is ready to host additional concerts if participation increases. The application deadline is Nov. 1.
  • International Woodwinds and Brass Competition 2014. The Winners Concert will take place on April 5, 2015, at 8 p.m. at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, New York City. The application deadline is Dec. 2.
  • International Piano and Strings Competition 2015. The competition is open to all instrumentalists and vocalists. The Winners Concerts will take place on April 5, 2015, May 3, 2015 and May 10, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. and May 25, 2015 at 8 p.m. at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Additional concert will be hosted if participation increases. The application deadline is Jan. 27, 2015.
  • The International Concerto Competition 2015. The competition is open to all instrumentalists and vocalists. The Winners Concert will take place on May 23, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. and May 25, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, New York City. Additional concert will be hosted if participation increases. The application deadline is Feb. 20, 2015.
  • International Vocal Competition 2015. The Winners Concert will take place in Nov.-Dec. 2015 at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, New York City. The application deadline is June 10, 2015.
